PRESIDENTIAL PETITION: Supreme court gives timelines on the determination
The Supreme Court has set 18th March as the date on which it will deliver judgement in the presidential election petition filed by Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
According to Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo, the hearing will be mainly conducted through written submissions due to time constraints.
The pre-hearing session has been postponed for about two weeks to allow Kyagulanyi prepare witness affidavits which he said he had been unable to do because his witnesses had gone missing.
