Dr Zeus, Zora Randhawa, Shortie and Fateh INCH LIVE IN SYDNEY 6th June 2015

The INCH tour landed in Sydney on Saturday 6th June. Over 300 party goers battled the cold and Vivid’s traffic to make their way in to the Hard Rock Café. The ladies were stunning and the gents looking dapper. There were many familiar faces and plenty of new ones. The DJs began spinning and the dancefloor quickly packed out. The view of the dancefloor from the stage was incredible!

The artists, Dr Zeus, Shortie, Zora and Fateh arrived at the venue. Normally, you find the artists like to spend a little time back stage getting themselves ready – not in this case. They saw the crowd, heard them cheering and couldn’t wait to get out there and do their thing.

First song of the night, was of course, the title song – INCH. And it went off! You could literally feel the vibrations of the dancefloor from the opposite end of the venue. Sydney, you guys went crazy and it was brilliant! Zeus and Shortie were blown away that their track ‘Kangna’ released over 12 years ago was still a crowd favourite in Sydney and had everyone singing and dancing along. The night was amazing.

Now let’s address some questions we’re receiving, ‘why did it end early?’ and ‘why didn’t I get a chance to meet and greet?’. Although the vast majority of people that attended were out to have a good time, there were a select few that still need to learn what that actually means. An altercation got physical and security were doing their best to diffuse the situation – until guards were assaulted.

Removing the offenders from the venue was not a problem, but the damage had been done. The artists had agreed for meet and greet around some basic conditions. One of those conditions was the presence of security. Unfortunately, based on the actions of a few, the guards were unwilling to co-operate. The night was called to an end and although some were able to score some sneaky selfies a number of people went without.

Rest assured, we do know who the offenders are and they will be joining the list of people that are permanently banned from Tantra Nights Events in the future. We will not tolerate such behaviour and want all our party people to enjoy their night feeling safe with us.

Tantra Nights management and crew would like to thank all of you for coming out, supporting us, supporting the artists and most importantly – supporting our dream of keeping the desi culture alive here in Sydney. Watch this space, we’ll be back soon with another awesome event. Take care guys.

Thank you again.
