R.I.P. Icarus | A week as a PhD student #9

I visit the YouTube space in London! I sing! I improvise a talk! I destroy hundreds of pounds of filming kit!

For clarification, the drone thing definitely wasn't my fault - it didn't crash into anything, it literally just tore itself apart in mid-air after a propeller flew off and then plummeted. All the propellers were securely fastened before takeoff and like I described I waited for a lull in the wind, and I have definitely flown it in windier conditions before. So not quite sure why it happened, but here we are. Also for those concerning themselves with the car I was flying it in an empty car park outside the church - the car drove out from behind the church when Icarus was already flying.

A memorial fund will be set up for Icarus' widow and family.
