FULL Liquid Metal Alienware 17 R4 GTX 1060 Repaste Grizzly

In this video i will be showing you how to Disassemble and Reassemble your Alienware 17 R4 GTX 1060 video chip one of the top 2017 laptop.
Also changing the thermal paste to Grizzly Conductonaut Liquid Metal and dropping TEMPERATURES BY 20-30 DEGREES.

if you going to over clock your cpu or gpu then yes you need to change your thermal paste,
#1. you need to add a .4mm - .6mm doesn't matter but make sure its not lower than .4mm if you can get a 1.5cm x1.5cm that would be better (you need to just cover the cpu or gpu diy area).
#2. you will be painting the LM on cpu/gpu diy and on both side of the copper shim and the heat-sink.
#3. i don't recommend anyone to over clock their laptops, because there are few factors and reasons why: 1. over clocking is to up the voltage to the cpu or gpu, and the voltage has to go thru the mofsets and other components, that when more voltage goes to the components it will bring the life spam of the laptop down and this is what all the brands want you do to its (marketing). 2. those components that have a thermal pads on them they dont need the pads if you are not OCing the laptop.
#4. if you change the thermal pads on the components make sure dont go to thick because then it will defeat the purpose of the copper shim. we add the copper shim to create extra pressure to the heatsink, and by adding pads you will create a counter force to the heat sink.
