19 नवंबर 1997 का दिन अमेरिका के साथ साथ भारत के लिए भी एक गौरवशाली पल था। क्योंकि उस दिन भारत की एक बेटी अंतरिक्ष के लिए उड़ान भरने वाली थी। कल्पना चावला ने अंतरिक्ष के लिए अपनी पहली उड़ान नासा के स्पेश शटल प्रोग्राम की 88 वी फ्लाइट STS-87 के जरिए भरी थी। इसके बाद 16 जनवरी 2003 को कल्पना चावला अपने दूसरे स्पेस मिशन के लिए रवाना हो गई, कल्पना चावला अंतरिक्ष में जाने वाली प्रथम भारतीय महिला थी । कल्पना चावला अपने जीवन काल में दो बार अंतरिक्ष में गई। इस दौरान उन्होंने 31 दिन 14 घंटे और 54 मिनट का समय अंतरिक्ष में बिताया । लेकिन 1 फरवरी 2003 को स्पेस वापस लौटते समय उनके स्पेस शटल कोलंबिया के साथ एक हादसा हो गया। इस हादसे में कल्पना चावला और उनके साथ गए बाकी के 6 क्रू मेंबर की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई ।

अपनी पहली अंतरिक्ष यात्रा के दौरान कल्पना चावला ने space से उस वक्त के भारत के प्रधानमंत्री इंद्र कुमार गुजराल से बात की । जो उनका space से लाइव अंतिम वीडियो था । और आज रहस्य टीवी आपके लिए लेकर आया है उसी वीडियो के कुछ खास पल, तो पेश है कल्पना चावला के साथ एक यादगार बातचीत के कुछ खास लम्हे।

The 19th November 1997 was a glorious moment for India along with the day. Because on that day a daughter of India was about to fly for space. Kalpana Chawla's first flight for space was filled with NASA's Space Shuttle Program's 88 V Flight STS-87. After this, Kalpana Chawla left for his second space mission on January 16, 2003, Kalpana Chawla was the first Indian woman to enter the space. Kalpana Chawla went into space twice in her lifetime. During this period he spent 31 days 14 hours and 54 minutes in space. But on returning to space on February 1, 2003, his space shuttle became an accident with Columbia. In this accident Kalpana Chawla and the remaining crew of the 6 crew members who had accompanied him died in a painful death.
Kalpana Chawla went to the space with six other crew members from the space shuttle Columbia on January 16, 2003. After being in this spas for about 16 days, when Kalpana Chawla and other crew members were returning back to Earth, their space shuttle became a fireball as soon as Columbia entered the Earth's atmosphere. And on seeing the Space Shuttle Columbia and the residues of seven riders aboard there, they began to rain on the city of Texas called USA. All seven astronauts died in this accident.
During his first space visit, Kalpana Chawla spoke to Space Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral from that time. Which was the last live video from their space.
