Our Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run Ride POV At Disney World's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!

My sons and I had waited several months after it opened to get the opportunity to go on the "Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run" ride in Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. So at 7:00 AM at Disney's Hollywood Studios, we walked into the land of Batuu for the first time, hoping it would live up to our expectations. We were blown away immediately by the whole look and feel of this imaginary world, with some familiar and not so familiar Star Wars characters, droids, and space ships. The money, effort, and attention to detail that Disney put into this land was very apparent, and we were impressed. It was a great reveal when we turned a corner and there it was...the fabled Millennium Falcon, fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy! It looks incredible, and makes you feel for a moment, that Star Wars just might be real. We had picked the right day and time to go to the park, as there was only a 20 minute wait to get on the ride! The queue line was very detailed and authentic looking, and the pre-show featured an amazing anamatronic of Hondo Ohnaka, the Weequay pirate. We were assigned our crew positions, got to experence the Smuggler's Run ride, and you can watch our actual experience in the cockpit in this video. Suffice it to say, it was great and worth the wait! Next goal...ride "Star Wars: Rise Of The Resistance"!
