DIY Coffee Scrub // Treatment for Cellulite & MORE! | BigAppleBeauty

Hi guys! Thanks for watching. Here's your daily dose of caffeine to get your day going. This easy recipe consists of the following:

1/2 cup of coffee grounds
1 cup of turbinado sugar
1/4 cup of coconut oil
15 drops of vitamin e oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Here are some (few!) of the benefits:

Coffee is actually used in many beauty products and spa therapies because of its anti-aging and anti-cellulite properties. Additionally, it helps reduce skin inflammation/redness, tightens pores and gets rid of dead skin

Turbinado sugar naturally draws moisture from skin. The glycol acid in sugar encourages skin cell regeneration. It's texture helps exfoliate dead skin away.

Vitamin E oil prevents/treats wrinkles and helps heal scars

Coconut oil is a natural anti-aging treatment. It moisturizes the skin and helps retain its moisture. It also gives skin a healthy glow and protects it from microbial infections.

Vanilla extract helps treat acne and is also an anti-aging treatment. Additionally it aids in healing burns, wounds and cuts

NOTE: IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE EXPOSING YOUR SKIN TO THE SUN PLEASE TRY TO DO THIS SCRUB THE NIGHT BEFORE. YOUR SKIN IS REALLY SENSITIVE SINCE YOU HAVE JUST STIMULATED NEW CELLS/SKIN. I ALSO DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCRUB FOR YOUR FACE, IT IS MUCH TOO ABRASIVE.
