Is Macular Degeneration Preventable - and Treatable - With Ancestral Diets? Wise Traditions - 2018

Could consumption of the ‘displacing foods of modern commerce,’ which equate to man-made, processed, nutrient-deficient and potentially toxic foods, be the cause of age-related macular degeneration (AMD)? Is it possible that enduring and orthodox belief systems, which hold that AMD is, first, “age-related,” second, a disease largely or primarily of genetic predisposition, and third, a degenerative disorder of which the prevalence presumably has always been high, may all be inchoate and erroneous assumptions?

In this Weston A. Price Foundation, Wise Traditions - 2018 Conference, ophthalmologist and Associate Clinical Professor Emeritus, formerly of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas, reviews the hypothesis and research proffered by he and his research team.

The fundamental basis of this research was recently published in the journal, Medical Hypotheses. The paper is available through Christmas Day, 2017, via Elsevier's "Share Link," currently available at CureAMD.org (https://www.CureAMD.org).

Come see the compelling hypothesis and research - to find out how AMD may be prevented and treated, through ancestral dietary strategy.
