The Great Decoupling

NEW YORK, October 16, 2019 — A panel of experts discuss how the economies of the United States and China are "decoupling" and what the implications of this trend are. Participants include Duncan Clark, chairman of BDA China and author of Alibaba: The House That Jack Built; Samm Sacks, cybersecurity policy and China digital economy fellow at New America; and Yasheng Huang, professor of international management and faculty director at the MIT Sloan School of Management. The conversation was moderated by Financial Times global China editor James Kynge. (35 min., 5 sec.)
