Evolution of Civic Activism in America.
From the slave trade in the American colonies in 1619 to Black Lives Matter, the event will begin with a structured introduction. Tonya Graves will moderate a discussion of racism, inequality and civil rights activism with several generations of Americans who have lived it. A question session will follow to ask if inequality in the Czech Republic can draw parallels.

The panel members will offer their insights on the topic of civic activism from their very different perspectives spanning more than 60 years, following which, the conversation will expand to include members of the audience who may have questions or wish to share their perspective of the changing demographics of the Czech Republic.
