2015 World Wood Day - Wood Carving Show - The Bridge

"Major celebration of 2015 World Wood Day took place in Eskişehir, Turkey. One of the highlights was the Wood Carving Show, which gathered nearly one hundred artisans from around the world to showcase their skills.

The umbrella theme “The Bridge” refers to “connection” as each of the participants hails from different cultures. Through the art of woodcarving, people exchanged, created, taught, and shared with one another, and thus experienced diverse facets and thoughts of each culture. All were singled-hearted amid the process despite they originated from different parts of civilization."
