How to make our own Rainbow at home? Primary school children science project 🙇🙇♂️
This video is made for curious kids to explore their knowledge towards science. Children love to do experiments with many things. Children will be amazed with this fun science experiment at their home with available simple materials such as water, glass, white sheet or paper. And of course direct Sun light. Sunlight is a mixture of rainbow colors.
When sunlight passes through different media of different refractive indices, it will bend at the refracting surface. This is called refraction of light. It is because of different wavelengths of light. Different wavelengths of light will travel with different speeds. So during bending process, light will be deviated from it's straight line path. So we can able to see the different wavelengths of light after refraction.
When light passes from air to the water it will undergo a refraction process, so coming out of the glass of water it will form a Rainbow of colors which can be caught on the white sheet of paper.
I hope kids will try and enjoy this experiment.
