GUBBEL VISION

Gubbeling, or to gubbel, one also can get the gubbles. In order to understand what this all means, you'd have to ask Phillip Marx in person, but he's not going to give you a straight up answer. In short, what I've learned is that "gubbel" is a term coined by him and his friends that basically means to mess around, and when you get those gnarly death wobs after hitting a pebble you are experiencing the "gubbles". Well you know what Phil? I think you are just a gubbel gubbling all the time, and so all the while I spent my time documenting this epic spontaneous skate trip I was trying to capture it through Gubbel's eyes, trying to attain his GUBBEL VISION. This is my attempt at creating a story from the gubbeling that happened those 3 weeks. Shout out to all the homies in the video that came out to skate and made this truly such a great time. Also, big thanks to Kyle Peterson for the GoPro gimbal footage and all the homies that sent it down with the camera in hand (and were still able to save it).
