A Walk in LONDON with MY SISTER | British English Listening Practice
If you love London, you will love this video.
Eat Sleep Dreamers you loved meeting my sister so much the first time, I had to bring her back for our second video together! This time we take a walk around London and talk about this beautiful city. We discuss what it means to be from London and what the city means to us. We also visit some of the most iconic locations including a theatre visit to Shakespeare's Globe!
I want you to use this video as listening practice. Our conversation is very natural and we don't slow down at all!! How much can you understand without subtitles? Then check by adding the English (United Kingdom) subtitles.
Here are some questions for you to answer as you listen. I will write the answers in the comments below for you to check your answers.
1. How has my sister's opinion of London changed since leaving London?
2. What is the Globe theatre and why are we going there?
3. Why is the Millennium bridge called the 'wobbly bridge'?
4.What's my favourite building in London?
5. What's my sister's favourite building in London?
