11.2 - Basics of image formation in MRI
The second half of today's course continues with echo formation in MRI, then the gradient echo sequence is introduced. This is followed with the discussion of two-dimensional encoding, leading to k-space and image formation. The full gradient echo sequence is described and the execution of a full imaging experiment discussed.
