Film vs. Digital Dynamic Range test - FILM WINS!

Is digital better than film? Is film better than digital? The truth is they are very very different!

Overall, dynamic range of film seems to be a few stops better than digital when comparing Delta 400 @ ISO 800, which is a very forgiving emulsion, compared to the Leica M10 digital sensor. Overall for the film it seemed to work OK underexposing a stop or overexposing up to around 10. Digital was OK overexposing around a stop to underexposing around 6. So in terms of making a usable image, I think film wins out.
