In this Hearts of Iron 4 timelapse, we take a look at the world within the Red Flood mod. With multiple divergences, the main focus of the mod is on the results of the Great War. France, under heavy pressure from the German military, signs a peace treaty in 1917. The war continues however, leading to an eventual German collapse, even though what is left of the allies is left in a terrible condition as well. The great destruction experienced by all involved leads to many countries moving towards new ideologies in order to repair themselves--whether that be Communism, a revival of Monarchism, or the new ideology of "Accelerationism" based on our timeline's artistic movement of Futurism. Communist Germany, perhaps the most powerful nation industrially in Europe and the current leader of the Internationale, through various events find itself at war with many other major powers. Will the nation's revolutionary and mechanical prowess be enough to allow it to survive? Or will it fall to the likes of the United Kingdom, the United States, France, and Italy?
