Be Careful... they are Sharp. I like that. SMILE. I did not order them for cutting steak, however they do a NICE job cutting steak. I want a sharp edged blade to cut my raw vegetables. I keep one set aside for cutting other things... ex: opening boxes. I do not like putting sharp blades into the dishwasher, so I clean them by hand after each use, dry them and put them away. I know these are going to last for years... my other set did, yet for some reason I am not sure what the hay happened to them. Oh well... Enjoy!
