Last Armageddon takes place on a post-apocalyptic landscape, where humanity has been wiped out where only demons and monsters inhabit the Earth and later aliens are also thrown into the mix.

The game originated on the PC88 and was ported to the Famicom and PC Engine gaming systems. The battle theme 14:18 in the PC Engine version in particular is the most popular of the entire set.
