Armed with just a flute and his beatboxing percussions, Sudhir R has enthralled audiences worldwide through the unique art of Fluteboxing.
Sudhir R is one of the most uniquely talented musicians in the country. He was the semi-finalist in Asia’s Got Talent 2019, the semi-finalist of India’s Got Talent season 5, the winner of the MTV show “Wall of Fame” and is a record holder in the Limca Book of Records.
In this TEDx talk, Sudhir takes us through the journey of what it takes to be a great artist. He narrates his journey and shares the ideals and challenges an aspiring artist must undertake to be successful. Throughout the talk, Sudhir also entertains the crowd by performing renditions of popular western songs while coupling traditional alaaps in the style of his signature fluteboxing. As if that was not enough, he does it all over again using a harmonica!
Sudhir Rajkumar is India’s leading performer in “fluteboxing”, an art that amalgamates the sounds of the Indian flute and the percussions of beatboxing simultaneously. Sudhir has further trained himself to perform the same feat with the harmonica. He was the semi-finalist in Asia’s Got Talent 2019, the semi-finalist of India’s Got Talent season 5, the winner of the MTV show “Wall of Fame” and is a record holder in the Limca Book of Records.
