Restoration of the Parthenon Marbles - Part E:
The most important work in the restoration of the Parthenon marbles is the intervention on the west side of the monument.
Since 2011, a total of 111 architectural members have been dismantled, which after completion of their structural restoration will be repositioned or reassembled in the Parthenon.
Along with the work of restoration of the marbles on the western side of the Parthenon, restoration work is being carried out on the upright and the first block of the north wall of the cella.
The current programs for the restoration of the Parthenon marbles include the final casting of strips in the new 6-column complement of the Parthenon's northern colonnade.
In the current NSRF programs for the restoration of the Parthenon marbles, the final stripping of the ribbons to the supplements of the two northerners of the 5 restored Pontoon columns is planned.
