Hacking Designs - Create Designs from Existing Objects

Hacking designs is a simple way to create a design from an existing objects that was potentially designed by someone else. In this video I will start from a physical item like a watchband for a smart watch and reverse engineer it into a design file and you can create a jig for engraving patterns into after-market bands. The goal is to provide some visual guidance so you can take virtually anything from the physical work and turn it into a digital design that you can then laser cut or engrave, or to create jigs so you can engrave on other items of this type.

Understanding the basically concepts here will allow you to accelerate your workflow for engraving on any items you might buy in bulk to sell in your business.
