In this video I talk about the earnings calculation used by Warren Buffett, Owner's Earnings. EPS can often be misleading as it includes some non-cash expenses and omits some real cash expenses, so Buffett uses a formula to calculate how much cash is actually being put in the pockets of owners.

I also use Netflix's profitable, yet cash flow negative, situation to demonstrate how EPS or Net Income can be misleading, and how Owner's Earnings tells us the whole story.
