Coming Of Age - Coming Home To Love

Coming Of Age was a short-lived R&B group from California who released two albums in the 1990s. Its members were Israel Spencer, Tao Kese, Terrance Quaites, Ivan Shaw and Marc Anthony Tabb.
Kashif, the well known R&B singer/songwriter/producer, lent a hand in composing a few songs on their album. One of their songs was a cover of the Isley Brothers classic, 'Between The Sheets'. One of the lead singers for Coming Of Age was Terrence Quites, better known as TQ, who himself went on to have a solo career with a few albums. Coming Of Age were part of the wave of male R&B singing groups during the mid 1990s such as: Me-2-U, Shomari, U.N.V., II D Extreme, and Lo-Key, among others to have a common thread of having flash-in-the-pan short lived success with one or two albums, and then disappearing into obscurity, due to lack of commercial promotion, lack of good production value, and low record sales.
