The F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team is a United States Air Force flight demonstration team under the 388th Fighter Wing currently stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Davis County, Utah. U.S. Air Force Capt. Melanie “MACH” Kluesner, an F-35A Lightning II pilot assigned to the 421st Fighter Squadron, became the new certified pilot and commander of the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team during the Air Combat Command Heritage Flight Training Course at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, March 1, 2024.

If you limit your choice only to what seems possible or reasonable you disconnect yourself from what you truly want and all that is left is a compromise… the current conundrum of the F-35 Block 4 which is anchored on TR3 or Technology Refresh 3 Hardware & Software is delayed by a year, overpaid by USD$1billion, even with cash incentives galore… Can the supply chain juggernaut truly deliver the combat software or do we face a cul-de-sac, a case of Faustus’s overreach?
