GREENPEACE vs SHELL - Portland,OR 2015

This is kind of a video 'highlights' thing I shot from the news chopper. 13 Greenpeace protesters are hanging by ropes from the bottom of the 205 ft. St. John's Bridge in north Portland, Oregon. Their goal is to block the Shell Oil vessel, 'Fennica' from leaving port for the Alaska drilling grounds. After a 24 hour delay, the Fennica began leaving, only to stop before going under the bridge. It then turned around and went back to port. During this time, we watched the Coast Guard attempt to keep protesters in kayaks away. There was also an appearance by a dude flying a paraglider. As of this post,the protest continues.... these are video highlights of what we were seeing
