色とりどりのバラをはじめ、四季折々の花々が楽しめるおふさ観音。美しい境内が仏様の世界にも例えられ「花まんだら」とも呼ばれています。
ここにはかつて大きな池があり、慶安3年（1650年）のある日、おふさという娘が白い亀の背中に乗った観音様を見たことから、小さなお堂を建て観音様をおまつりしたのが起源とされています。ご本尊である十一面観音様は、身体健全、厄除け、ボケ封じをはじめ開運、良縁、学力向上などさまざまな願いを叶えてくださるとして、多くの参拝者が訪れています。
