WATCH: Protesters demand ‘non-political’ probe into October-7 attack, rejects Netanyahu's committee

On February 7, Israeli protesters rallied in Tel Aviv, demanding the govt probe October 7, 2023 attack through an independent state commission of inquiry. Earlier, on Feb 5, PM Netanyahu announced that as part of investigation, he had submitted document containing answers on govt’s conduct on & before the attack. The investigation into the October 7, 2023 attack was conducted by the Israeli State Comptroller. Israeli protesters demand a non-political probe into the ‘deadly’ October 7 attack. Protesters also alleged that a committee appointed by Netanyahu’s government would serve only his political interests. PM Netanyahu’s security credentials were undermined by the October 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel, which killed 1,200 people. The attack also triggered the war in Gaza, which killed over 71,000 Palestinians and left the region in a serious condition.
