More importantly, what is your Net Worth? Is it a positive or a negative number? Becoming financially independent comes with knowing and tracking that number monthly. This is called tracking quiet progress.

So… to do it... Prepare a list...

List all the things you own. These are your assets. Cash in the bank. Jewellery. Watch. Car. House.

Then.. List all things you owe. These are your liabilities. Any debt such as negative credit card balance, car payment, a mortgage... and in Brad Pitt's case alimony.
