SIMPLE Welding Cart with HART [ATTENTION WALMART SHOPPERS]

Our standard welding cart just wasn't cutting it, so we did what every other red-blooded American (or Canadian, insert other countries) would do. We went to WalMart. We picked up a HART 36-inch toolbox to be the base for our new DIY Welding Cart. With tons of storage and plenty of real estate on the top, this HART toolbox is a great fit for a welding cart.
We used one 24-foot stick or 1"x2" 14ga rectangle tubing and 1 20-foot stick of 1/8" x 6" flat-bar. In addition to the toolbox, we also used a HART grinder that we picked up for $40 and our HART impact driver to build and assemble our DIY welding cart.
We stitched it together with our Miller Multimatic 220 AC/DC welder, using the MIG and TIG functions where it made sense. The price for the box was about $332 plus tax. The HART box supports more than 700 lbs in the six drawers and the casters support 1,200 pounds. HART also includes a 3-year warranty.
