I dedicate this piece to my mother who accompanies God in heaven. I have always found comfort and peace in this poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye. To me, it translates in a way that says the person you lost is present in the memories you hold of them. Physically, you have to let them go but they live through you. They are the beauty that you see in the world everyday- they are the winds that blow & the diamond glints on snow. They no longer can suffer. They are in a better place.
