Ferry Ride From Seattle To Bainbridge Island Aboard The MV Tacoma - (February 21, 2013)

This video was filmed during our ferry ride aboard the ferry MV Tacoma on February 21, 2013. This was my second trip across the Puget Sound from Seattle to Bainbridge Island and this time I wanted to capture the unique docking and unloading sequence of all the bicycles, motorcycles, cars and pedestrians as we docked. Unloading is done via a two-tier system with pedestrians off-loading up top while the bicycles, motorcycles and cars unload on the bottom (in that order). The timing of our trip couldn't have been better as we happened upon a local real estate agent who recommended we have dinner at the "The Pub" in The Harbor Public House. Our meals were fantastic and consisted of venison with cranberry relish, pulled pork with homestyle fries and salmon. For desert we had banana bread pudding and caramel fudge brownie sundaes. The trip back across the Puget Sound was at night and gave us a completely different view of the Seattle skyline. Enjoy!
