Camping on a beach side cliff in SoCal | Surfing | Family road trip

In this first part of our California trip we leave from our home in Colorado, drive through a blizzard and stop at Slab City to see Salvation Mountain. We then head to Anza Borrego State Park in California and camp for a night. The kids stretch their legs by riding their bikes. We then head to Carlsbad State Beach Campground where we set up our roof top tent on the edge of a cliff before heading out to surf.
