Disney loves their live action remakes, and The Little Mermaid is just another one on their list to be redone entirely new. With modern CGI, real humans, scrapped songs, and REALISTIC FISH FACES.. And yet.. I found the movie to be endlessly charming still. I never saw the original Little Mermaid so perhaps my like of adoration for the original makes me the perfect target for this kind of rebrand. But nevertheless, our cinema screening loved it. And some minor changes were added to improve the story to a modern audience - such as a slight lyrical change to Kiss The Girl to make it more consensual. Despite it's obvious motives, this movie came with a lot of heart, from a lot of people that were really trying their best. Awkwafina was also there. So let's dive into things a little deeper as we discuss our experiences. This is our review of Disney's The Little Mermaid Live Action Remake...
