Building a DJH 0-4-4T kit

I wanted to try something different, so I got this 00 scale model of the 0-4-4T steam engines used on some British railroads. The kit was made by DJH (model K8), and I really enjoyed putting it together! High quality parts and good engineering really make a difference. I painted it for the Western and Atlantic, so it's not exactly realistic, but oh well.

DJH has a huge selection of kits based mostly on European prototypes, but they also have some African and Australian models as well as one kit for an Alaska Railroad prototype. I'm going to try one of their Garratt kits next. :)
