Seat Tarraco vs Skoda Kodiaq vs Peugeot 5008
Bigger dimensions inspired the design team to find a greater balance between aesthetic integrity and purposeful proportions. And even though the #SEAT #Tarraco SUV is 4,735mm long, 1,839mm wide and 1,658mm tall, creating a huge interior space and an imposing exterior, the overall design implies a lightness and agility as well as a robustness and practicality.

The 1.5 litre unit produces 150PS of power between 5,000rpm and 6,000rpm while the engine's 250Nm of torque is available from just 1,500rpm up to 3,500rpm. The output figures are achieved due to the 1,498cc unit's bore and stroke of 74.5mm and 85.9mm respectively and a compression ratio of 10.5, and give the SEAT Tarraco a top speed of 201km/h.

The larger 2.0 litre TSI engine benefits from a bore of 82.5mm and a stroke of 92.8mm with a compression ratio of 11.65 and produces its maximum power output of 190PS between 4,200rpm and 6,000rpm. The engine's enormous amount of torque, 320Nm, is delivered at 1,500-4,100rpm. The larger petrol engine helps the Tarraco reach 100km/h in just 8.0 seconds and gives it a top speed of 211km/h.

There are two diesel options, both 2.0 litre TDIs, with power outputs of 150PS and 190PS respectively. Bore and stroke are identical at 81mm and 95.5mm but the compression ratio differs: the 150PS unit uses a 16.2 ratio while the 190PS engine is 15.5.

The 150PS variant can be connected to either a front-wheel drive, six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG with 4Drive system, but maximum power remains 150PS at 3,500-4,000rpm and maximum torque of 340Nm is available from 1,750rpm and 3,000rpm. The 190PS variant is connected to a seven-speed DSG with 4Drive system, and the maximum power remains 190PS at 3,500-4,000rpm and maximum torque of 400Nm is available between 1,750 and 3,250 rpm.
Five powertrains, two TDI and three TSI engines, make up the engine range at the launch of the #Skoda #Kodiaq. They have capacities of 1.4 and 2.0 l, and power output ranges from 92 kW (125 PS) to 140 kW (190 PS). The diesel and petrol engines feature turbocharged direct injection and fulfil EU6 emission standards.

The 2.0 TDI is available in two versions. The first version generates 110 kW (150 PS) and 340 Nm. The top-of-the-range version delivers 140 kW (190 PS) and puts 400 Nm on the crankshaft. On average, the entry-level TDI consumes 5.0 l of diesel (131 g CO2/km) per 100 km. The most powerful diesel engine accelerates the large SUV from 0-100 km/h in 8.6 s and reaches a top speed of up to 210 km/h.

The range of petrol engines consists of two 1.4 TSI engines and one 2.0 TSI. The entry-level version of the compact four-cylinder generates 92 kW (125 PS) and 200 Nm of torque. Its NEDC consumption is 6.0 l per 100 km, which corresponds to 140 g CO2/km. In the more powerful version, the 1.4-litre exerts 110 kW (150 PS) and 250 Nm of torque.

The driver can operate the 7-speed #DSG in the automatic D and S mode, or control it manually using the gear lever or the steering wheel paddles. When Eco mode is selected in the optional Driving Mode Select, the car is taken out of gear: as soon as the driver takes their foot off the accelerator at a speed above 20 km/h, drive is disengaged - the Skoda Kodiaq is coasting.
The 2.84-m wheelbase of the all-new #Peugeot #5008 SUV makes it the most liveable of C-segment SUVs! The Efficient Modular Platform (EMP2) is specified with a wheelbase 16.5 cm longer than the new Peugeot 3008 SUV, and is 11cm wider than the original 5008, and second-row passengers, have 60mm more knee room.

The overall length of the vehicle (4.64m) remains compact, yet for a spacious C-segment vehicle, the new Peugeot 5008 SUV-though 19cm longer than the new Peugeot 3008 SUV and 11cm longer than the original version of the 5008-is still one of the most conservatively proportioned and its extra length makes it roomier for passengers.

There are four petrol engines available for the all-new 5008 SUV:

1.2L PureTech 130 S&S six-speed manual, standard (CO2 at 117g/km) or super-efficient (CO2 at 115 g/km) version
1.2L PureTech 130 S&S six-speed automatic (CO2 at 120g/km)
1.6L PureTech 165 S&S six-speed automatic (CO2 at 133g/km).

Six diesel engines (availability dependent on location) complete the range:

1.6L BlueHDi 100 S&S five-speed manual (CO2 at 106g/km)
1.6L BlueHDi 120 S&S six-speed manual, standard (CO2 at 108g/km) or super-efficient (CO2 at 105g/km)
1.6L BlueHDi 120 S&S six-speed automatic (CO2 at 112g/km)
2.0L BlueHDi 150 S&S six-speed manual (CO2 at 118g/km)
2.0L BlueHDi 180 S&S six-speed automatic (CO2 at 124g/km).
