In this episode, we explore Key West with my grandkids and then take a ferry out to the Dry Tortugas National Park.

Key West has kind of a Caribbean vibe and gives us a relaxing feel as if we were out in the Bahamas.

There are a lot of historic buildings and many tales are told about it's storied past.

The Dry Tortugas National Park is one of the least visited national parks, vastly because of how remote it is. The ferry takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to get out there or you can catch a float plane and be there in approx 40 minutes.

Ft Jefferson was built in the 1800's and has withstood the test of time. It is a fascinating journey back in history and the snorkeling is not bad either!
