Social Media Power Chat - Build Your Presence Online with Randy Hilarski, Billy Funk & Logan Roberts

This weeks Social Media Power Chat was all about how to brand yourself on social media. Today I brought on three Power Players who each have their own way on how to brand yourself. I have Randy Hilarski in Panama, Logan Lynn Roberts in Philadelphia and Billy Funk out of Chicago helping you #GetYourLearnOn.
My first question today was, "what is your presence and how do you brand yourself?"

Billy Funk- I am the Extreme networker. I love Networking and extreme sports. Billy built a following of over 10,000 followers on Google Plus in two and a half months! @FunkBilly on Twitter

What are some good ways to brand yourself online?

Randy Hilarski- Stick to your brand or message. Keep your message to a few main subjects.

Logan Lynn Roberts- Pick your Keywords and stick to them. SEO 101

Billy Funk- Stay consistent and persistent with your message. People will see that you are not going away.

Mia Voss- Engagement and focus.

Amber asked, "Randy how did you get Google Verified?". Google verified does not have anything to do with vanity urls to start. It is a process that you must apply for through Google. Randy says he actually did it through a contact a Google Chile, after they reached out to him asking him how we was doing so well on Google Plus. Randy says, "it is who you know not what you know", when it comes to Google and Youtube verified profiles. Logan says that is a major part of Google Authorship. I say keep your message on track. Google will notice your content.

We also talked about how do you keep your brand on point. I said find someone you can trust who will review your posts and your site. Billy says, "hire your weaknesses, you can't expect to know everything". It is all about collaboration! Work as a team. Logan says, "A players work with A Players". Randy says, "Ralf Kaiser makes the point, we are better together".

What are your Recipes for Success on Social Media?-

Billy Funk- A one minute mindset video on Youtube weekly and positive motivation quotes. I do my #Extremewheel circle shares every week.

Logan Lynn Roberts- Be human, brand yourself with the human aspect. I read constantly about social media and online marketing. Personalize your online brand for success. Make sure you are responsive.

Randy Hilarski- Curate people, create awesome content, original content, shout people out and help people out to brand yourself. Check Randy's article, "The Google Plus Red Carpet"
