They’re denied entry to restaurants, disliked by their neighbours, and called racial slurs by passers-by. This is just some of the treatment that sisters 18-year-old Caitlin and 20-year-old Lizzy McDonagh have to put up with on a daily basis, all because they are Irish Travellers. Sick of old stereotypes, the glamorous sisters have now become social media superstars, and regularly invite their 400,000 followers into the very private Traveller community. The sisters join us today to tell us more, as they continue their mission to end traveller discrimination and misinformation.
