Sculptor and Furniture Maker Paul Kruger Gives Old Lumber and Fallen Trees new Life

Working out of Industry City in Sunset Park Brooklyn, wood worker and artist Paul Kruger creates functional pieces of furniture, and sculpture, from fallen trees and reclaimed wood. He discusses the beginning of this journey, which started with long walks along the Hudson river in New York City, where he began to collect the discarded pieces of wood and rework them.
