Boris Johnson ask for forgiveness over lockdown party

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson apologised after a leaked email showed that one of his top officials had invited more than 100 Downing Street staff to a party, which Boris Johnson himself had attended, on May 20, 2020. "I believed implicitly that this was a work event. But, Mr Speaker, with hindsight I should have sent everyone back inside, I should have found some other way to thank them," Johnson told the House of Commons in London on Wednesday.
