Philmont Day 8: Crooked Creek to Beaubien

Day 8 at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM.

Today we...
Hike to Beaubien for a 2 night layover.
Visit Crooked Creek Camp for Homesteading program.
Pryce pets chickens, a donkey and a grumpy cow.
The tree swing is a hit.

We stock up in Phillips Junction and pose for a group photo.

At Beaubien...
We do a forestry conservation project.
We have a chuckwagon dinner (yes, still had to do dishes) with cobbler.
We sing songs at a campfire
