Are Phones Any Good for Landscape Photography

How about we do a little experiment? Let's see how the camera on my phone performs when compared to my Sony A1 full frame camera system.

Maybe it's time I stopped lugging around a massive camera and a whole bunch of lenses and just settled for the camera in my pocket? I mean, it's a 50 megapixel camera right, it must be good? Well, it's not that simple.

It's not long before I begin to lose my temper with this fiddly and annoying technology but above all other things I'm a stingy Yorkshireman, so I persevere and actually manage to bag a solid long exposure with my phone camera.

The cost difference between these two cameras is around $9k but can you actually tell the difference to the finished images?

Will I succumb to phone rage and toss it in the river? Can I achieve perfect focus and how long can I hold that neutral density filter for?

There's really only one way to find out.
