Looking at how the Watchtower's account of their history seems not to be based on what is true, but on what is convenient for the time, based on the message they are trying to convey.

When they wanted to be trusted, they never run ahead of Jehovah.

When they are caught running ahead of Jehovah, they are just being like a faithful watchdog.
