How to Easily Convert A 4 Door Tri-5 Chevy Into A 2 Door Hotrod!

I have had so many people ask me about converting 4 doors into 2 doors that I thought it would be easiest to edit 1 long "How-To" video. I love 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevy's. Unfortunately the price of 2 door hard tops and sedans were simply out of my reach. With a little research I found out that a 4 door and 2 door sedan shared the same roofline, window opening and wheel base. This means all that needs to be changed are the front doors and a section of the quarter panel to give the 2 door appearance. This is why some cars look better as 4 doors than others. In my opinion, when they share a 2 door roof line they are much easier on the eyes.

All the parts needed for this conversion are a good set of factory 2 door doors, a good welder, a grinder and a little bit of motivation. I did the conversion from first cut to paint and trim in about 2 weeks!

From the outside you can't tell it apart from a factory 2 door sedan. This car get's thumbs up everywhere it goes.
