About The Video:

Finally manage to get round to Slow-And-Steady and Balticseal in this one :) They're my two most conservative of traders, favouring ETFs exposed to treasuries and bonds a lot of the time...

They've both been doing well! But before I get to them, I discuss how the F.O.M.C (the committee which decides on U.S.A monetary policy on behalf of the Federal Reserve) is having a big meeting today and the world's traders and investors are watching closely...

Depending on what the FOMC says, traders will likely pivot into or out of 'Growth' stocks/equities... I discuss briefly what Growth stocks are, and talk a little amount increasing money supply, and the link between growth equities and interest rates..

I'm still just learning, so please DYOR! This is a complex set of issues, but the more I learn, the more some of the problems seem glaringly obvious... We'll see what happens though :)

I do finally get to slow and steady, and Balticseal and show how both of their conservative approaches have meant they've been weathering the worst of the storm recently, and their risk scores and drawdowns remain untouched... they've both actually picked up some new copiers too which is quite an achievement in these troubled weeks.

We'll see what happens when the F.O.M.C make their statement - I'm pretty sure it will all change again! We'll have to wait and see...
