I always wanted to see a good overview of Queensgate yard from start to finish, so I decided to make one. It turned out to be a bigger task than I thought it would be, considering how many smokestacks, power-lines, etc., are all over the valley. Not to mention I did not want to fly over people directly, so I used the Millcreek as a safety just in case something went wrong with my drone. The yard was quite busy. I filmed this with a Mavic Pro2 in beautiful full 4K UHD 30fps June-14-2019 enjoy!
CSX Queensgate Yard is a freight railroad yard of CSX Transportation in Cincinnati , Ohio . It is located in the lower valley of Mill Creek , which stretches from north to south over the neighborhoods of Camp Washington and Queensgate. The river runs on the west side of the eight-kilometer-long station and then flows into the Ohio River . The station was built in the 1970s by the holding company Chessie System , which since 1973 the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway , the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and theWestern Maryland Railway included and merged in 1987 in the CSX Transportation .
