Jerome Refused to Give Up his Rottweiler - The Ecollar Helped him Train Him After His Stroke

Jerome almost lost his life, then he almost lost his dog. February 2023 Jerome suffered two strokes, alone at home with his dog, Karl. Jerome had adopted Karl a few months prior and when the stroke(s) hit, he lost the ability to continue the training that he had started. He lost the strength in the right side of his body, and handling a large and powerful dog like a Rottweiler became almost impossible. People told Jerome to get rid of Karl, put him down or drop him at a shelter.

I wasn't gonna let that happen. I knew we could continue training Karl by modifying the training and adding a remote collar, aka e-collar, a tool that would give Jerome the ability to communicate effectively with Karl and to keep them both safe. This truly was a fight worth fighting for and one we were gonna win together.

This is a truly amazing little story that I want to share with you. A story of love and dispelling myths... A story of perseverance and dedication between man and dog and the power that LOVE has to transform pain and sadness into a life well worth living.
