Behzad Aghabeigi - Strings of Desire ▄ █ ▄ █ ▄

Behzad Aghabeigi was born in Tehran, Iran. Behzad found his passion for playing classical and Flamenco guitars at the age of thirteen. He obtained a B.A. degree in Economic Science and decided to move to London in 1990 to continue his studies. After his graduation, he decided to devote all his time towards performance and production of music.

His first two albums "Gypsy Renaissance" and "Strings of Desire", have had great success in the US market. Strings Of Desire showcases Behzad Aghabeigi's blend of traditional Spanish sounds, inviting Middle Eastern melodies and passionate flamenco rhythms .

Behzad writes: " As they say, all of life is a 'homecoming'... you never forget where you took your first breath and where you gained your first sight of life's miracle in hand... I am no different from any other mortal so my hometown is where it all started from and is the place I go back to every time I pick up my guitar and strum... The clarity of the air used to inspire my play and the nostalgia still shows me the way ."

Performances around the world, with groups such as Fantasia and Futuro Flamenco gave him the opportunity to show their talent abroad. He resides in London at the present time.
