Isaac Newton: Hero or Villain?

Isaac Newton is a hero of science, but he does have a few skeletons in the closet.

Newton had a nemesis named Robert Hooke.

Hooke played a major role in the understanding of theory of gravity, some say he deserved to be credited.

Newton is know to have destroyed the only know portrait of Robert Hooke when he became president of the Royal Society.

He may have also burned some of Robert Hookes personal belongings in the furnaces of the Royal Mint when Newton was the keeper of the mint.

Newton's death mask is an indication of his ego.

He sat for many portraits, all we have of Robert Hooke are a few of his etchings.

I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (https://www.youtube.com/editor)

Here is a website with the ten chapters, please understand that this is just a very rough first draft, I am re-writing the whole thing, but here it is https://gateway.pinata.cloud/ipfs/QmYzNF7zYCts4nViiHbWgQbPhphVonf2FLKL3r6QskjV5u/
